Terms of Service

Multitude is a paid, ad-free platform for independently produced shows. These preview terms describe the intended service. Multitude is operated by MULTITUDE LLC, PO BOX 72871, Phoenix, AZ 85050. Contact support@multitude.io or 808-207-9669 for help. During the invited pilot, access is provided without a subscription; the paid membership terms below apply only when paid memberships open.

Accounts and membership

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Member sign-in uses the enabled Google, Apple, Facebook, or email/password options. Keep your account secure and do not share access with other people. You are responsible for activity you authorize. Child accounts and child profiles are not offered.

Membership is $10 USD each month, plus applicable sales tax. It includes viewing the available catalog. Creating a show is a separate entitlement: each show costs an additional $10 USD each month, requires an active membership, and no show is included with membership. Each account may run up to 10 shows. Subscriptions are recurring monthly payments. Each monthly payment unlocks access for that monthly billing term. The subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. The final recurring amount, tax, and renewal information are disclosed before you confirm payment in Stripe.

Cancellation and availability

Cancel a renewal through Account or billing management. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues through the end of the current paid monthly term and ends when that term expires. Canceling the membership also requests cancellation of show renewals. You may cancel a show while keeping the membership. Failed renewals do not extend paid access.

When membership expires, viewing and publishing access stop. A show without a current entitlement leaves browsing, search, Following, and Surf, and its media cannot be played. All subscription payments are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. We do not provide full or partial refunds, prorated refunds, or credits for unused time. Canceling does not refund the current monthly payment. Contact support@multitude.io about billing errors or rights required by law.

Your work

You retain ownership of your content. By uploading, you grant Multitude a non-exclusive permission to store, encode, transmit, display, and deliver it to authorized members, and to display the title, artwork, and excerpts you designate for the service. This permission is limited to operating the platform, honoring existing legal obligations, and the documented retention period. You must have the rights and permissions needed for everything you upload.

Each paid show may publish one new episode every 168 hours. Uploads and drafts do not consume that allowance. The first release may be immediate. Published media cannot be replaced with a different cut. Deletion, renaming, or re-creating a show does not reset the entitlement's publication history.

Episodes and extras may not exceed 60 minutes, 4K resolution (4096 pixels on either dimension), or 30 frames per second. Uploads and processed outputs must meet the supported media requirements. Creators choose exactly three categories and a content rating. Ratings may be corrected through review. Kids-directed content requires additional review before availability.

Royalties

Multitude shares a portion of subscription revenue with creators. A creator's share is based on genuine viewing of their published episodes by members, measured and weighted under rules that Multitude sets and may revise. Own viewing, repeated playback, automated activity, and fraudulent or manipulated viewing do not count. Community votes do not determine royalties. Multitude does not publish the formula and may change how viewing is measured or weighted without notice.

Dashboard figures are estimates and may change until the accounting period is reconciled. Payouts are made through Stripe Connect after the period closes, subject to identity and tax verification, fraud review, available funds, and a minimum balance. Amounts below the minimum carry forward. Previously earned royalties and historical records survive show inactivity. No policy promises a minimum audience or a minimum payout.

Retention, enforcement, and service limits

Inactive or hidden show media is retained for 90 days and may then be deleted. Reactivation is possible while files remain. Keep your original files and independent backups. We may restrict material or accounts for policy violations, rights claims, security issues, or legal obligations. Reporting and appeal processes are available. No policy promises uninterrupted service, a minimum audience, or a minimum payout.
